Volders successfully closes financing round
Volders, a Mountain Partners portfolio company, has successfully closed a financing round of EUR 1.7 million. The start-up supports customers in organizing and managing their paperwork and contracts, such as electricity payments, smartphone rates or gym memberships. With the funds raised, Volders aims to further develop their application as well as the functionality of comparative offers.
According to Jan Hendrik Ansink, Founder of Volders, “many people do not even know how many contracts they have lying around at home.” Volders allows customers to keep an overview on their contracts, which can be uploaded to the platform using an application or desktop version. Ansink specifies that some users upload three to five contracts while others manage up to 25 via Volders. Furthermore, users can terminate contracts directly via the application using termination letter templates. Up to 400’000 contracts have been terminated since the start of Volders in 2014. Recently, Volders has launched comparative offers as new functionality. Users can search for better deals directly in the application.
Volders aims to double the number of users in the next twelve months. So far, over 300’000 users have uploaded at least one contract via application or desktop version. The Berlin start-up currently has 20 employees.
