Exasol Announces Availability Of Its Data Analysis Platform On AWS
Exasol AG, a leading provider of analytical in-memory database systems, announces the immediate availability of its enterprise-level data analysis platform for Amazon Web Services (AWS). It enables organizations to quickly and easily deploy a flexible data warehouse in the cloud or a data analysis solution via AWS. AWS Marketplace customers can choose from pre-built Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) to create their own data analysis infrastructure. Using the high-performance Exasol platform from the cloud, users can, for example, accelerate the analysis of complex data sets or establish self-service reporting by creating a central repository for structured and unstructured data.
The AWS service allows users to deploy Exasol clusters of any size to optimize cost and performance. They can also be combined with local servers to meet data governance requirements. In addition, Exasol easily integrates with the Hadoop and Spark data infrastructure. Existing data pools and large data projects can also be extended to create value from existing enterprise data sources in a cost-effective manner.
“A modern data infrastructure is the basis for data-based decisions – and it doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive,” says Jens Graupmann, VP Product Management at Exasol AG. “Delivering Exasol via the AWS Marketplace is a timely and attractive proposition – companies can cost-effectively extend their data analysis infrastructure without experiencing price surprises”.
In the Forrester Wave™: Cloud Data Warehouse Q4 2018 Report, Exasol was named “Contender” in recognition of its powerful current offering and market strategy.
Previously, the Exasol data analysis platform was available through AWS with community support for evaluation purposes and developers. The Exasol Enterprise Support (PAYG) data analysis platform now available on the AWS Marketplace includes 24×365 enterprise-level support and fully managed solutions.
