MOUNTAIN PARTNERS CELEBRATES the graduation of its fourth IDEABOX BATCH
Ideabox, the joint venture of Mountain Partners, Indosat Ooredoo, and Kejora, is an award winning tech accelerator focusing on internet and telecommunication sectors and is now celebrating the graduation of its fourth batch. The three winners of April 2017 – Andalin, Ayoslide, and Stylecation – have successfully passed the 120 days of intensive mentoring and consultation with local and international business leaders from diverse industries.
During the program, Andalin, Ayoslide, and Stylecation received seed funding, access to a strong investor network, dedicated facilities and additional perks from ideabox partners among other support. With this, the three startups could expand their reach and services:
Andalin, which initially was a one-stop service solution focused on customs clearance integration services to help small- to medium-sized enterprises with cross-border business, has changed its target market, focusing only on medium enterprises due to business-related considerations. During the Ideabox program, Andalin acquired vendors with worldwide coverage and set up collaborations with international logistic partners and banks for integrated banking services.
Ayoslide, the mobile marketing platform with incentive ads on users’ locked screens, has managed to reach 100,000 registered organic users in only four months and could gain several media networks as solid media partners.
Stylecation, previously known as Sevva, is a rental service platform simplifying users´ ability to rent and lease various products and has pivoted their business model into a marketplace platform for curated dress rental boutiques, designers and other fashion related services. The company has gathered an inventory of over 200 curated dresses and is expecting to onboard more reputable designers in the near future.
“We at Mountain Partners are thrilled about yet another successful graduation of startups coming out of the Ideabox program. This time we are adding Andalin, Ayoslide, and Stylecation to the hall of fame. Its respective teams have again proven that the startup ecosystem in Indonesia is maturing further and continues to produce role model entrepreneurs, which are focusing on solving local relevant pain points. Together with Indosat Ooredoo and Kejora, we are continuing to support local talent in their entrepreneurial endeavours and are looking forward to our next round of initiatives under Ideabox,”said Marco Stutz, International Investment Director at Mountain Partners.
