Digital contract assistant Volders convinces with continued success and receives EUR 2 million

Volders, a Mountain Partners portfolio company, has successfully closed a financing round of total EUR 2 million from both existing and new investors. The Berlin based start-up offers its users a free desktop application as well as native apps for iOS and Android for the digital management of their contracts.

Only a few months after the last financing round in December 2016, Volders once again concludes an investment in millions. The existing institutional investors, Mountain Partners and Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) participated again. In addition, Family Offices will support the Berlin start-up in operational and strategic decisions.

The now accumulated capital will be used to position themselves as personal contract assistance. The aim will be to make the customer service more pro-active and to adapt the comparison and extension offers more individually to the needs of each single customer. With Volders, consumers receive transparency about their entire contract situation and can change or cancel rates with just a few clicks.

Jan Hendrik Ansink, Founder and Managing Director of Volders, is excited about the great interest in his company: “Our big goal is to always have the consumer a matching contract constellation – without having to worry about it. With the fresh capital, we will work intensively on our positioning as a personal contract assistant and thereby push forward our product development. In addition, the management and team will be expanded.” At present, 20 employees are working for the company. Volders’ own user base was increased by 50 percent this year to more than 550,000 users.
