Best E-Commerce-Insurance: simplesurance receives BankingCheck & eKomi Award
The Berlin-based Insurtech startup simplesurance, which developed an insurance service platform, took first place in the category “Best eCommerce Insurance 2018” at the BankingCheck & eKomi Award with 4.8 out of 5.0 possible evaluation points. During the voting period from January 1st to April 30th, 2018, more than 120,000 customers in the financial and insurance sector voted for and supported their favorites.
The award is based on customer votes and opinions. The feedback not only relates to the insurance policies and warranty extensions offered, but also to the customer experiences in the closing process, particularly in the uncomplicated handling of claims.
Simplesurance, founded in 2012, offers a cross-selling software in E-Commerce, making it easy to take out product insurance at the digital point-of-sale. If one decides to buy a new device, simplesurance enables one to directly insure the device with only a click. At this point, the customer is supported in all insurance-related questions and handlings of claims and repairs. All processes are fully automated and digitized, allowing the young company to work cost-neutral and effective.
The innovative cross-selling insurance solution is today integrated within over 2,500 E-Commerce operators, including well-known smartphone manufacturers such as Oneplus and Huawei, Fintech Revolut and the Japanese E-Commerce Rakuten.
