Luisa Kauter

Luisa joined Mountain Partners as CFO in June 2022. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2025. Before joining Mountain Partners, Luisa worked for more than 15+ years in the M&A/Transaction Diligence departments of EY and KPMG in Frankfurt, London and Rome. In her latest role as a Director at EY she was responsible for the lead of cross-functional teams and projects with a focus on financial buy- and sell-side due diligences, primarily for Private Equity clients investing in various sectors. She has particularly strong expertise in the Life Sciences, Healthcare and TMT industries. Luisa graduated with a Master of Economics (Diplom-Betriebswirt) from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Wiesbaden, and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (IFRS, Birmingham).
