Philip Behrends

Philip Behrends joined Mountain Partners in 2013. As Managing Director Venture Capital he is responsible for early- to growth-stage VC investments. He co-founded and managed early stage investment fund Conny & Co. I and played a key role in Mountain Partners’ investments in the growth financing rounds of TIER Mobility, Wefox and Lingoda. As an Investment Manager, he previously led early-stage investments in Europe and Latin America. Prior to this, Philip managed and oversaw all investment, fundraising and internationalisation projects initiated by Dr. Cornelius Boersch as well as structuring investments and international joint ventures as the firm’s Legal Counsel. Philip first joined Mountain Partners as a Business Development Analyst with a focus on South-East Asia. Philip holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK.
